The Sokoto Red Bean is a unique decaffeinated blend hailing from the rich coffee regions of Chiapas, Mexico. This blend includes:

Caturra: Known for its full body and bright acidity, Caturra adds a lively dimension to the blend.

Typica: The Typica varietal brings a traditional and balanced profile, contributing to the blend's overall harmony.

Catuai: This varietal is valued for its sweet and rounded flavours, which round out the blend beautifully.

The Sokoto Red Bean undergoes water decaffeination, a gentle process that preserves the coffee's intrinsic flavours:

Non-Chemical Process: Unlike other decaffeination methods, water decaffeination is chemical-free, maintaining the coffee's purity and quality.

 

ESPRESSO PREPARATION

  1. Grind: 23 grams of finely ground Sokoto Red Bean espresso roast.
  2. Yield: Target a 46-gram yield for a full-flavored espresso.
  3. Pour Time: 30 seconds extraction.
  4. Temperature: 91 degrees Celsius for optimal flavour extraction.
